Two nights ago I installed MyStars for the first time on this machine. It worked great. But last night and tonight when I run MyStars a box pops up immediately and says that MyStars 2.7.0.0 has encountered a problem and needs to close. I have restarted the software. I have uninstalled the software using MyStars' uninstaller and reinstalled. I have used a commercial uninstaller and reinstalled. I have restarted the computer with and without uninstalling and reinstalling. I downloaded the software and reinstalled. All I get is the same error box. Nothing else has changed since I successfully ran the software two nights ago. I have not made any software or hardware changes. I am running Windows XP.
I sent an email to tech support but all they told me was to run MyStars' uninstaller which I had already told them that I did.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.

If you go the the folder where MyStars! is installed, there is a file called mystars.ini

try removing that file and let me know if it helps.

It worked. Still crashes once in a while after twenty minutes or so but I can live with that - it's an old computer. Thanks.
