Is it a clock, is it a navigation tool, or is it a precursor to MyStars! ????

They found this, but nothing with the accuracy and intricacy was built again for another 1000 years!

A mechanical clock, and astronomy calculator with the mechanisms of the middle ages, but bulit by the ancient Greeks, several hundred years BCE!
